This week, we argue the pronunciation of a semi-common word and call for mini-themes to be submitted.

Why can’t I finish creative projects? I have so many journals, notebooks, projects, ideas, list etc, but I can’t seem to focus long enough to see them through to fruition.

We answered Shannon’s question using the (Lucille) Ostara Tarot deck, uniquely illustrated by four different artists—Molly Applejohn , Eden Cooke, Krista Gibbard, and Julia Iredale.

As Brian says, there’s a lot of “great, nature-based, fantasy art” to be found on the cards, and the sides are gilded (which instantly makes them fancy).

This Week’s 3-Card Tarot Reading

The Past: EIGHT OF COINS | The Present: NINE OF SWODS | The Future: HERMIT

Our advice: In the past, you were working on a project—dilerbitely, improving your skills, and crafting something of meaning and value (Eight of Coins). But at some point, you started freaking out (Nine of Swords). There were so many options to choose from and so many creative paths you could pursue that you stopped doing the work and started worrying instead. Now, take time to meditate on your creative stresses (Hermit) and consider which project you want to tackle. Go back to being that Owl and intentionally work on one project. When that’s done, you can pursue the next one. Trying to do everything at once is just going to cause mental anguish.

The Card of the Week

It’s Halloween, which means this one comes from the Zombie Tarot Deck by Paul Kepple and Stacey Graham.

Tarot Card of the Week: Strength

Keywords: Resolve, Conviction, Inner Determination
It’s all inside you. It’s always been inside you. You are strong (mentally, at least), and this week, you can use that inner determination to kick some (zombie) butt.
