This week, Ben won BIG at the Kentucky Derby, and we write micropoetry.

My anxiety has been really intense for the past few months. A friend of mine has recently inspired me to start writing micro poetry as a way to cope, but the poetry is all extremely personal. She’s encouraging me to share it on social media but I’m not sure. So my question for the cards is should I share what I’ve been writing?

We’re using the Spolia Tarot this week, by Jen May & Jessa Crispin. Ben got it for Brian as a gift, so Brian gets to review it! It’s a very large deck. The images are woodcut illustrations plus collage work. It’s very pretty, but difficult to shuffle. Brian’s rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

This Week’s 3-Card Tarot Reading

The Past: DEATH | The Present: SIX OF SWORDS | The Future: QUEEN OF CUPS | Clarifier: ACE OF WANDS

Our advice: A chapter in your life has recently ended (Death). The poetry is a part of getting the poison out. It’s a journey that’s painful, but gives you agency to exorcise the demons (Six of Swords). You’ll be very in touch with your emotions, and you’ll be able to sit with them and manage them (Queen of Cups). You should be sharing this with the world. It’s the beginning of a passion journey that will lead to even further benefit to you (Ace of Wands).
